A useful finding separates the observation from its possible explanation. It should identify the evidence, its location basis and review status, explain what remains uncertain, and state the next check or action. A defect label alone is not a repair specification.
What can thermal imagery establish?
Thermal patterns need suitable source data, settings and capture context. They do not independently establish moisture, insulation failure or regulatory compliance. Further investigation may be required.
How does evidence support a maintenance plan?
Connect a reviewed finding to an owner, an agreed action and a target date. An estimate should identify quantities, assumptions and exclusions. Keep unpriced work visible rather than treating it as zero cost, and distinguish a planning allowance from an approved budget or purchase order.
